Check right now. Open your website on your phone and honestly tick what applies:
- It takes more than 2–3 seconds to load.
- Almost no visitors or enquiries come from Google.
- The design looks dated — like it got stuck in 2018.
Is even one of these true? Your website needs a redesign — urgently.
Not “some day”, but before another busy season passes you by.
How did it get this way? Most small-business websites were built by people who weren’t quite specialists: a template, a page builder, dozens of plugins. It works, so nobody touches it. Meanwhile the business pays an invisible tax on it every year.
This isn’t cosmetic. It’s money
Slow loading. Mobile visitors don’t wait. Every one who leaves is an ad click you paid for — and a customer for your competitor.
Weak search visibility. Google takes site speed into account when ranking pages. A slow site sits lower, and the customers searching for you go to whoever sits higher.
A dated look. Design is trust. A site that looks ten years old reads as “their service is probably ten years old too”. People look — and leave without getting in touch.
What it looks like in practice
Our client is Big Style School, a dance school in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. Their website was eight years old: a heavy page builder, 21 plugins, no updates for a long time.

Left: a dark screen and a “Watch video” button — what kind of school is it, who is it for, how do you sign up? No idea. Right: the offer is up front — kids from age 2 and adults, a booking button and a phone number in the header.

Same message, but readable text and a real photo of the studio instead of dark panels. And “from age 2” instead of “from age 4”: the school has taken toddlers for years, but the old site never said so.
Speed: Google’s measurements before and after
These are PageSpeed Insights reports — Google’s official tool for measuring site speed. Left: before the redesign. Right: after.
On mobile: 38 → 65 out of 100

On desktop: 81 → 91 out of 100 — Google’s green zone

The page is now two and a half times lighter, and 21 plugins went down to three.
The smartest way to do it today: an AI-powered redesign
Owners face two obstacles. A traditional design studio means months of work and a serious budget. And there’s the fear: “they’ll build a new site and we’ll drop out of Google.” That fear is justified — rankings are usually lost because of human mistakes during the move.
An AI-powered redesign removes both:
- AI agents build the new design and move all the content across — many times faster and cheaper than a studio;
- checks are done by software, not by someone eyeballing it: every page and every heading is compared against the old site.
Why rankings don’t drop — they grow
- Page addresses, headings and texts stay the same. To Google it’s the same site, just faster and easier to use.
- The new version is built on a hidden copy, and the switch happens in one go, overnight. After launch we track rankings for a month.
- Visitors stay longer on a fast, clear site — search engines notice and move it up.
A website should sell, not sabotage.
