Where we started
- Worked through the Alucoat brandbook so the brand identity carried over to the web intact.
- Reviewed how European paint and industrial materials manufacturers build their sites.
- Settled on a store structure that could hold several languages and the full product catalog.
Site architecture
- Laid out a multi-page structure: catalog, product pages, and company pages, with room to add product lines later.
- Built the home page as a landing page: key visuals, benefits, product categories, FAQ, and CTA blocks.
- Mapped a clear route from the hero section to a product page or a submitted inquiry.
Design
- Designed a responsive site that follows the Alucoat brandbook throughout.
- Gave the home page the structure of a sales landing page, built around bold visual blocks.
- Designed the catalog, product cards, cart, and content pages.
- Added subtle animation that supports the brand’s premium positioning.
Store functionality
- Configured WooCommerce around a manufacturer’s needs: categories, variable products, specifications, and filters.
- Set up multilingual support so the team can work with customers abroad.
- Added the plugins the store needed for the cart, order management, integrations, and analytics.
